2 heaping tablespoons of shortening 

1½ Cups milk 

2 packs of yeast (about four table spoons)

Warm milk to luke warm and add yeast to disolve

Put flour and shortening in a bowl, then stir milk

roll it out on aluminum foil sprinkle with flour, 

Cut and put in pan with a liberal amount of oil covering the bottom of pan.

Let rise for 20 minutes

Preheat oven and bake on 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Butter top of hot rolls whlle still in the pan
